Brescia, East Quadrupling project leaving Brescia

Brescia, Following what was announced during the meeting held last Monday at the Auditorium of the Chamber of Commerce, the Municipality of Brescia - in order to ensure the maximum transparency and promote correct knowledge of the preliminary quadrupling project east out of Brescia, drawn up by Italferr on behalf of the Italian Railway Network - has activated a section of the website specifically dedicated to the project in question.
In this section, the reports illustrated by RFI and Italferr during the presentation meeting on Monday 27 July and dedicated to the following topics are published:
evolution of railway services on the RFI lines relating to the Brescia hub;
placing the work within the high-speed rail development corridors;
general framework of the project;
territorial integration project of new railway works;
Brescia: the opportunities of a new gateway to Europe.
In the same section of the site there is a link to the Ministry of the Environment website dedicated to the Environmental Impact Assessment procedure of the project, on which the entire documentation of the same (reports and cartographic documents) is uploaded.
Also published in this section is the very recent regional resolution (dgr 28 July 2020 n. 3434) with which, in view of the Services Conference which will be convened by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, the Lombardy council expressed its opinion on this preliminary project own favorable opinion, with prescriptions and recommendations.
