Another 7 Emilian municipalities included in the Simplified Logistics Zones of Genoa and La Spezia.

The Liguria Region has signed, as required by the recent regulation establishing the Simplified Logistics Zones (DPCM 40/2024), two agreements with the Emilia-Romagna Region for extend and regulate the perimeter of the ZLS "port and hinterland of Genoa" and the ZLS "port and hinterland of La Spezia" to the municipalities of Piacenza and Casalgrande in the first case and to those of Parma, Noceto, Medesano, Fidenza and Fontevivo in the second. These agreements allow Liguria to expand the hinterland areas on which the ZLS insist and to the municipalities mentioned to apply the simplification and facilitation measures provided for in the Strategic Development Plans of both regions.

“To promote the efficient development of intermodality between ports, dry ports and markets, and in consideration of the recent regulation approved by the Government that governs the Simplified Logistics Zones, we have entered into a collaboration with Emilia-Romagna, which is a fundamental hub for the entire North-West, to integrate the Simplified Logistics Zones of Genoa and La Spezia – underlines the regional councilor for Economic Development with responsibility for Ports and Logistics – A strategic opportunity for Liguria, on which we as a Region have worked immediately to advance this project of attracting investments and employment, but also for Emilia-Romagna which today accounts for 26% of the traffic of the port of La Spezia and 9% of that of Genoa”.
