The Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Maria Tripodi is on a mission to Paris, where she participated in the UNESCO General Assembly and met the delegates of the International Exhibition Bureau of Japan, Chile and the Islands
Cook, Liberia, Suriname, Slovenia, to promote the candidacy of ExpoRoma2030.
Undersecretary Maria Tripodi accompanied by the Italian Permanent Representative to UNESCO, Amb. Liborio Stellino, you also had bilateral meetings with the Deputy Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis Geoffrey Ian Hanley and with the head of government of Andorra Xavier Espot Zamora.
Undersecretary Tripodi highlighted the role of EXPO Rome 2030 as a tool for cooperation between countries and a driving force for the development of synergies in the economic, scientific and cultural fields. The Italian experience in organizing large international events, underlined Undersecretary Maria Tripodi, translates into the ability to provide the logistical support necessary for the construction of the pavilions, as well as the availability to financially help countries that need it , to guarantee fair and inclusive participation, in the name of the values underlying the candidacy and supported by the European institutions.
