Udine, 1 million and 400 thousand euros for the redevelopment of the sports facility in via Basiliano

Deputy Mayor Michelini: "This is a work that gives prestige to the Sant'Osvaldo neighborhood and strengthens Udine's role as a leading city also from a sporting point of view"

Udine, construction of a covered grandstand with 350 seats. Creation of rooms intended for services for the public, bar-restaurant, rooms for journalists and television filming. Construction of a new building to be used as a ticket office. Expansion of parking areas for the public and athletes. Adaptation of structures. Enhancement of lighting. Arrangement of internal pedestrian paths and green areas.

These are the interventions that will be carried out by the municipal administration to redevelop the sports facility dedicated to football in Via Basiliano.

The project, approved by the municipal council, is illustrated by deputy mayor Loris Michelini: "After the green light for the feasibility project, we will proceed with the definitive and executive projects. Subsequently there will be a tender to identify the company that will carry out the work. The structure is managed by an amateur company which will continue to guarantee its activities, mainly aimed at the state and children. At the end of the redevelopment work, the structure will be able to host matches of higher categories".

Michelini concludes: "It is a work that gives prestige to the Sant'Osvaldo neighborhood and strengthens Udine's role as a leading city also from a sporting point of view."
