Tajani: «No impact on the majority from the choices in Europe».
"It has always been clear that there are different positions, we start from different families, but this has no impact on the majority and government activity". The Foreign Minister said so Antonio Tajani responding to those who ask him to any repercussions on the majority from the positions taken on EU appointments.
«FI is always at the forefront to implement the program without creating any turbulence, we intend to reach the end of the legislature with a centre-right majority. I can reassure all Italians that there will be no problem with regards to maintaining the majority."he said.
About Ursula von der Leyen "the government abstained, precisely to respect the different positions of the parties" of the executive. «I believe that the Prime Minister's choice was correct»he said Tajani.
«All this has nothing to do with Italy's role in Europe. We are the second manufacturing, we are the third economy, we are a founding country, therefore I believe that Italy deserves a vice president who also has an important portfolio to allow Italy to make its own quality contribution to the construction of a Europe that must be increasingly competitive", he added.
