The agreement was signed in Rome between the State Police and BCC Banca Iccrea, parent company of the BCC Iccrea Group, for the prevention and fight against computer crimes which concern the networks and information systems supporting the company's institutional functions.

The agreement between the State Police and BCC Banca Iccrea was signed in Rome, parent company of the BCC Iccrea Group, for the prevention and fight against cyber crimes which concern the networks and information systems supporting the company's institutional functions.
The convention, signed by the Chief of Police - General Director of Public Security Prefect Vittorio Pisani and by Mauro Pastore, General Director of BCC Banca Iccrea, is aimed at developing a structured collaboration between the parties, for the adoption and strengthening of increasingly effective strategies regarding the prevention and fight against cybercrime, considering the delicate and strategic sector of intervention of the Group.

The protection of the critical computerized infrastructures of institutions and companies that provide essential services is one of the specific missions of the Postal Police, the specialized branch of the State Police responsible for preventing and combating crime. The State Police ensures through the Postal and Communications Police, the body of the Ministry of the Interior responsible for communications security. In particular, this task is carried out through the National Anti-Crime Center for the Protection of Critical Infrastructures (CNAIPIC) which, with an operations room available 24 hours a day, represents the point of contact for the management of critical events of infrastructures of national importance operating in sectors sensitive and of strategic importance for the country.
They were present at the signing of the agreement for the Department of Public Security, the Central Director for the Road, Railway and Communications Police and for the Special Departments of the State Police, Prefect Renato Cortese, the Director of the Postal and Communications Police Service, Dr. Ivano Gabrielli while for BCC Banca Iccrea was attended by Renato Alessandroni, Head of Security and Operational Continuity, Chief Information Security Officer, Pasquale De Rinaldis, Head of Information Security, Giuseppe Cardillo, Head of Architecture & Innovation and Raffaella Nani, Head of Institutional Communication.
