President Giorgia Meloni is maintaining contact with the head of Civil Protection Fabrizio Curcio and the competent authorities to monitor the evolution of the current "state of emergency" which has particularly affected some Italian regions.

The Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is following with apprehension the evolution of the calamitous events which have particularly affected the Toscana and expresses deep condolences for the victims, his staff and the entire Government.

President Meloni remains in constant contact with the minister Nello Musumeci, XNUMX the head of Civil Protection Fabrizio Curcio, with the president of the Region Eugenio Giani and with the competent authorities.

THEwave of bad weather which struck on the evening of 2th November, the Tuscany region, requested rescue and restoration interventions. Heavy rains and floods caused the deaths of three people overnight.

Administrative and accounting procedures are in place for the restoration and reconstruction of public and private assets.

The damage caused by the wave of bad weather required 1.500 interventions by the firefighters. Particularly affected the provinces of Florence, Pisa, Prato, Pistoia and Livorno.
The Mayor of Florence, Dario Nardella, he has declared ''I was in Campi Bisenzio all afternoon with the mayor, the situation is very serious. We still have 3 thousand families cut off from water, there are around 7 thousand families in the whole province without electricity and in many cases not even water arrives. In these hours I am giving support to these families, the situation is in full emergency."
