“On May 9, 46 years ago, after 55 days of imprisonment, the Honorable Aldo Moro was barbarously murdered by the red brigades.

After his kidnapping and the massacre of the five agents of his escort, the murder of the statesman represented the most tragic epilogue of the crazy plan with which the terrorists attempted, unsuccessfully, to undermine the foundations of our Republic.
