Pesaro, expropriations approved to build the gym on the school campus in via Lamarmora

Pesaro, the process for the construction of the gym serving the school campus in via Lamarmora continues. The council today approved the acquisition - through expropriation - of the areas close to the Brancati, the new Oliveri, useful for the construction of the new sports facility which will follow the definitive awarding of the works to the company and the start of the works scheduled for the spring.

«A structure approved by CONI for competitive competitions – recalls Enzo Belloni, councilor for Operations – which provides approximately 200 seats and which also includes the creation of a level car park serving the complexes and citizens. It is a decisive intervention for both school and extracurricular activities in the area which increasingly confirms Pesaro as a city of sport."

A facility that is also crucial for its function as an "attractor of growing sports tourism and in which we are investing". The cost of the intervention, equal to 3,2 million, is financed partly (2,6 million) by ministerial funds, partly by a mortgage financed through Credito Sportivo.

The overall surface area envisaged by the intervention is approximately 1.400 mXNUMX and is made up of a play area and a public area; from services for users and staff; from a covered walkway to the main and secondary entrances; from another covered connection that will lead to the Olivieri school.

The works will allow the creation of a cutting-edge structure, highly sustainable and with low environmental impact also thanks to the photovoltaic system integrated with the "green roof" system, composed of vegetation that requires little maintenance, with high regeneration and auto propagation, perfect «to optimize the performance of the system itself. The gym in via Lamarmora will be another decisive structure for developing the sports sector, important for tourism and for the promotion of well-being" concludes Belloni.
