Sunday, after reopening on Tuesday, the facility will be officially christened with the 4 Mori Trophy, a regional competition reserved for very young people in the Beginners B category, members of the Italian Swimming Federation. It will be the occasion for the official reopening, in the presence of the authorities, Mayor Sanna and Councilor Franceschi in the lead, who will reward the winners at midday.
«Today a wound opened 3 years ago closes – comments the Mayor Massimiliano Sanna -. We reopen a fundamental sports facility for Oristano, a pearl in the sports citadel of Sa Rodia. Covid, the restrictive measures adopted throughout Italy to combat the spread of the virus which have particularly penalized swimming centers and the high management costs have caused the paralysis of the municipal swimming pool. In recent months, Councilor Zedda first and Councilor Franceschi then, together with the municipal offices and the company that will guarantee the operation of the plant from now on, have worked hard to achieve today's result».
