Nordio: "we will intervene to fully implement article 15 of the Constitution"

"We will intervene to fully implement the art. 15 of the Constitution which affirms the freedom and secrecy of conversations – said the Minister of Justice, Carlo Nordio, at Agorà Rai Tre -.
At this moment we have intervened partially to protect the third party, that is, the person who is mentioned in other people's conversations. But subsequently we will also intervene to protect the dignity and freedom of people who speak and must speak to each other in confidentiality, because confidentiality is the other side of freedom. Naturally without compromising the investigations into major crimes of organized crime."

“We have taken into account the ruling of the Constitutional Court of a few years ago – said the minister on the unappealability of acquittal sentences in the first instance – and we have reformulated this unappealability of acquittal sentences in accordance with the indications of that sentence”.
“The legislative power must do the legislative power, the executive power must do the executive power, the judiciary must do the judicial power. The laws are written by Parliament, the judges do not write them, the judges must apply the law. Then they say their opinions, it's fair, everyone can express their opinions", states the Foreign Minister and national coordinator of FI, Antonio Tajani.

The CSM is preparing to make its voice heard on the justice reform approved by the Council of Ministers and which is preparing to begin its parliamentary process.

The Minister of Justice Charles Nordio, which he said he believed the government's "institutional interlocutor" is only the CSM and not the National Association of Magistrates, which has instead been accused of "interference" and has not yet asked the Marshes' Palace for an opinion on the reform. But from the front of the professional councilors comes a certainty: 'if the minister doesn't ask us, we will proceed automatically'. The idea is to open a file on reform in the Sixth Commission, the one responsible for expressing its opinion on laws and decrees.

Nordio: "interverremo per attuare completamente l'art.15 della Costituzione"
