Minister Antonio Tajani at the Italy Quality Day organized by the Leonardo Committee

The speech scheduled for Friday 17 November by the Vice President of the Council, Hon. Antonio Tajani, on the occasion of the Italian Quality Day, will introduce the presentation of the Lonardo Awards.

Friday 17 November at Palazzo Montecitorio at the Italian Quality Day, organized by the Leonardo Committee, on the occasion of which the Leonardo Awards will be awarded.

“The entrepreneurial figures we are recognizing this year provide a particularly significant contribution to the promotion of Made in Italy in the world, in all sectors of the Italian productive fabric: sports, luxury tourism, consumer goods, boating, objects furniture, clothing and services. The winners to come announced tomorrow have demonstrated that they are capable of proposing innovative solutions inspired by sustainability, digitalisation and creativity", commented Tajani.
In the first eight months of 2023, Italian exports reached 415 billion, with an increase of 2,3%.

“The Italian productive fabric has an extraordinary vocation for exports that the Government wants to support. For this reason, at the beginning of my mandate, I launched the strategy of growth diplomacy, to make our value chains more solid, re-adapting them on a regional scale, to encourage exports, the competitiveness, creating growth, well-being and jobs.”, concluded the Vice Premier.
The Leonardo Committee was established in 1993 on the initiative of Confindustria, ICE and
a group of businesses and men of culture. To date it associates 160 personalities between entrepreneurs, scientists and men of culture.
The Awards will be awarded again for the first time since 2021.
