Lecco, parking ban in via prealpi
Lecco, the road provision follows the introduction of the free shuttle from Lecco to the cable car square
A permanent parking ban has been established along both sides of via Prealpi, in the stretch between via ai Poggi and the last hairpin bend, as well as a parking ban with forced removal of vehicles on both sides from the last hairpin bend to the cable car car park for the Erna Plans.
Due to the small caliber of the road on Via Prealpi, the parking of vehicles along the road does not allow safe two-way traffic and creates an obstacle to the transit of local public transport buses. Hence the road provision that prohibits parking and the simultaneous activation of a free shuttle from Linee Lecco, with which the Municipality of Lecco has made it possible to reach the Versasio square for free every Sunday and public holiday, starting from this end week and until the end of September.
The service runs every 25 minutes, from 7am to 11am and from 14pm to 19pm, with departure and arrival from via Guglielmo Marconi in Lecco-Caleotto area (on the Istituto Parini fence side). There is also an intermediate stop in Corso Promessi Sposi (traffic light intersection area) at number 62 (for the outward/upward journey) and at number 17 (for the return/downhill journey)
