Imperia: rural development and final event of the Liguria Region and Anci. An opportunity aimed at Municipalities to facilitate tenders.

After the meetings in Savona, La Spezia, Genoa, the last presentation event of the CSR (Regional Complement for Rural Development) 2023-2027 will be held in Imperia on Wednesday 20 March at 11 am, at the Hall of Municipalities of the Province.

"The CSR – explains the councilor for Agriculture and Territorial Marketing Alessandro Piana – is the tool that identifies our strategic choices, based on financial resources amounting to 207 million in total with very vast types of intervention. Among the priority ones we remember the settlement of young people and the start-up of new rural businesses, agro-climate-environmental payments, measures for irrigation, risk management and innovation. Instead, among the new features, we recall the option of preparing specific tenders for certain sectors, areas or themes, a circumstance that was practically impossible in the old programming cycle".

The meetings held together with Anci focus in particular on opportunities aimed at Municipalities, in order to encourage correct and uniform information which further facilitates access to tenders. “The interventions that municipalities and other public bodies can access have a total availability of around 65 million euros – continues councilor Alessandro Piana – of which 14,9 million reserved for infrastructures for rural areas (road and water networks, tourist, recreational and digital infrastructures), on the improvement of services for the rural population, on the recovery of buildings and valuable elements and on the refunctionalisation of rural areas. Then there is a large series of other measures amounting to around 50 million that concern issues important such as measures on forestry and silvo-pastoral roads, the production of renewable energy for collective use, irrigation and reclamation infrastructures, the improvement of forests, the restoration of forest damage, investments in prevention or improvement works".

"In this process in the Ligurian Provinces, we are collecting the observations and needs of the Municipalities - states the director of Anci Liguria Pierluigi Vinai - At the same time, together with the vice-president Piana and the Management Authority, we are illustrating in a simple and effective way the contents of the new CSR, former PSR. At the end of the four local meetings we will reactivate the Anci-Region task force to rationalize what emerged from the local communities".
