Grosseto, the Municipality will finance nine projects aimed at the social sector.

Il City of Grosseto published a public notice with which he made available 100 thousand euros to support activities, projects and/or initiatives aimed at the social, social welfare and social health sectors. They could take advantage of the contributions Organizations of Volunteering and social promotion associations, registered in Single National Register of the Third Sector: with operational headquarters in the Municipality of Grosseto or which carry out, in reference to the project presented, activities in the Municipality of Grosseto; who have been operating in the social, social welfare and social health sectors for at least two years; whose statute includes among the activities that can be carried out the organization and management of activities and initiatives in the field of social welfare, promotion and social education.

Nine associations were selected that presented the best projects: the oaks of mamre with the project “Solidarity emporium: I do the shopping and stay at my house", Engea Garibaldini volunteers on horseback with "Together it's possible",Association of people down with “let's learn to cook”, Archconfraternity of Mercy who presented the project “Improvement of the transport system: motorized port chairs”, In Room/Agimus with “Through sounds, social cohesion, education and music”, Lilt for the project “Migrant cancer prevention”,Workshop of ideas with “SOS Grandparents, let's not leave them alone”, Movement for life with “Together taking care is possible” ed Attractive with the project “The thread that unites, day centre”.

“Our administration has decided to give concrete support to the most deserving projects that the associations have presented to us – they comment mayor Antonfrancesco Vivarelli Colonna e the social councilor Sara Minozzi –.
