Grosseto: 2 million euros of investments between Marina di Grosseto and Principina a Mare.
The asphalting of the main access roads of the hamlets of Marina di Grosseto and Principina a Mare are underway and on the home stretch. To celebrate this milestone, the mayor Antonfrancesco Vivarelli Colonna together with the council, the president of the municipal council Fausto Turbanti and some of the councilors carried out a new inspection.
In the last year the municipal administration has invested over 2 million euros in improvement and redevelopment interventions of the two seaside resorts. The objective is to make the circulation of vehicles, citizens and the numerous tourists who visit our coast every year easier and safer.
During the first two years of administration the Municipality invested 1 million and 300 thousand euros on road asphalts. Added to these are the interventions of the last year which have allowed the redevelopment of the main streets of the two hamlets.
The works of the complex project approved by the municipal council include the redevelopment of via Grossetana, for a total of 297 thousand euros; of via Montecristo, for an amount of 261 thousand euros; of via del Tombolo, an artery in the southern part of the hamlet, for 240 thousand euros. In addition to these, there will also be the demolition of architectural barriers and the resurfacing of the road surface of Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia, costing 100.00 thousand euros.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of June.
“A great result, which testifies to the commitment of our Administration in satisfying the requests of its citizens – declared the mayor Antonfrancesco Vivarelli Colonna – We promised it in the electoral campaign and we demonstrated it with facts”.
