Research, the G7 Science and Technology begins.

These are the main themes at the center of the ministerial meeting of the Group of 7 su science and technology chaired by the Minister of University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini, which from today, July 9th, until Thursday 11th will be held at Technopole of Bologna.
The delegations of Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, United Kingdom, United States of America to discuss the centrality of research and science for a more equitable and sustainable future.
There will be five thematic work sessions that will take place on Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th, with the last work meeting at the end of which there will be the adoption of the final Declaration and the Minister's press conference Bernini.
But the G7 in Bologna will see the arrival of the delegations as early as today. A visit to the Ducati Museum, in the establishment of Borgo Panigale, one of the best-known symbols of technological excellence and Italian identity in the world. The first day will end with a historic meeting Villa Guastavillani, Home of the Bologna Business School of Alma Mater UniversityThe delegations will be welcomed by five young musicians from the Giovan Battista Martini Conservatory of Bologna with music by the great composer and conductor Ennio Morricone.
And to raise awareness of the excellence of Italian higher artistic and musical education, the Ministry of University and Research will bring the G7 ministers to Forlì, where on the evening of Wednesday 10th, at 19.00 pm, the concert of the Italian Conservatory Orchestra will be held in the Abbey of San Mercuriale.
«The message we want to send from Bologna and from this G7 is that science and technology are not far from us. They are "tools" at our service. Every discovery, every innovation, has the aim of making our lives simpler, of improving its quality. To do this, it is essential that research is open, collaborative but also safe. Italy is the protagonist of change and innovation", comments the Minister of University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini.
