Anti-mafia, Colosimo: «32 unpresentable in the local elections».
For the Anti-Mafia Commission I am 32 unpresentable candidates in the next local elections.
In addition to them, the Commission also reported the presence of 13 names on the lists who have already held the role of mayor or member of the council in seven municipalities dissolved due to mafia infiltration.
The names were communicated by the president of the Commission Clare Colosimo, during the hearing at Palazzo San Macuto. The National Anti-Mafia Directorate had reported 71 names. However, of these, a total of 45 were deemed by the commission to be in "conflict" with the code.
These include 3 exponents of Fratelli d'Italia: Sabatino Andreelli, candidate for the municipality of Pescara and with a proceeding for unauthorized access to a computer system; Luigi De Nittis, candidate for the municipality of Bari and accused of fraudulent bankruptcy; Antonio Di Giuseppe, also a candidate for the municipality of Potenza, with a proceeding for self-laundering and with the next hearing set for June 28th.
Furthermore, the names communicated by the commission also include an exponent of Forza Italia: Palmiro Ruggiero, candidate for the municipality of Vibo Valentia, for whom a conviction for fraudulent bankruptcy has been issued. And also Andrea Giudo, candidate for the municipality of Lecce for the “UDC – Puglia Popolare” list, with a corruption case pending.
Finally, regarding the 13 candidates in violation of the code in the municipalities dissolved for mafia infiltration, these are: Fabio Ramundo, councilor of the municipality of Neviano; Rocco July, mayor of the municipality of Portigliola e Domenico Musolino, councilor in the same municipality; Luigi Cirillo, councilor of the municipality of Torre Annunziata; Emanuele Pio Losapio, mayor of the municipality of Trinitapoli, together with Francis Di Natale, deputy mayor, e Maria Michela Montuori, councillor; Tommaso Andreoli, councilor of the municipality of San Giuseppe Vesuviano, together with the councilors Silvia Annunziata, Enrico Ghirelli, Marica Miranda e Nunzio Zurino.
