Catanzaro, the city awarded as European City of Sport.

Il Municipality of Catanzaro was awarded at the European Parliament di Brussels including European City/Town/Community/Region of Sport. To collect the award at Grand Gala of the Belgian citySports councilor, Nino Cosentino, and the 'Tourism councilor, Antonio Borelli.

“Catanzaro city of sport 2023 it is a journey that began already in 2021 and which we are carrying forward to enhance one of its prerogatives Administration. Sport is inclusion, sociality and enrichment, especially for young people. Next year will be a year of events and growth opportunities for all enthusiasts of all disciplines: Catanzaro is an open city and will demonstrate this in the activities we will carry out in the structures, in the squares, with the associations and schools".
