Cagliari, After three weeks in the white zone, from Monday 22 March Sardinia will move into the orange zone and the Civic Museums of Cagliari, the Cultural Heritage and the Art Centers of the city will close.
The Municipal Art Gallery, the City Palace and the Stefano Cardu Siamese Art Museum will continue their now usual and rich programming for the enjoyment of the online exhibitions and the public will be able, through social channels, to satisfy their curiosity both on the permanent collections, and on the temporary exhibitions set up at this time.
Also closing are the Cultural Heritage, so dear to the people of Cagliari, the Covered Walk of the bastion of Saint Remy and the Galleria dello Sperone, the Roman Amphitheatre, the Prison of Sant'Efisio and the Crypt of Santa Restituta and last but not least the Bell Tower of the Cathedral, a privileged "balcony" to admire the extraordinary skyline of the City.
The municipal art centers Il Ghetto, Castello di San Michele and EXMA will also remain closed to the public. www.consorziocamu.it and the official social networks will continue to inform the public and propose educational activities that can be carried out at home.
The Lazzaretto Municipal Art Center will also remain closed to the public but will continue its cultural and educational activities through social channels.

With the move to the Orange Zone, the services of the Library System of the Municipality of Cagliari will also undergo changes. In fact, limited entry and reservation-based use of the reading and individual study rooms of the MeM and the Pirri Library will be suspended again.
The lending service will not be suspended but rather strengthened, expanding the use of the Bibliobus, the traveling library of the City Library System. In fact, starting from March 22nd, users will be able to continue to book books according to normal procedures and their collection can be carried out at the Bibliobus stops according to the following calendar:
- Monday: Piazza Giovanni XXIII, from 15pm to 00pm
- Tuesday: Iceland Square (Genneruxi), from 15pm to 00pm
- Thursday: Via Quirra Market, from 9:00 to 13:00
- Friday: Via Euro (La Palma), from 9:00 to 13:00
- Friday: Park of the former Distillery (Pirri), from 15pm to 00pm
Upon expiry of the loan, the books can be deposited in a special box located outside the MEM and Pirri libraries and at the Bibliobus stops on the days and times indicated below.
The reference services and the document delivery service of the Municipal Archives and the Sardi Studies Library will remain active upon reservation.
