Brescia, facilitation for food and drink delivery activities in the restricted traffic zone

Brescia, The municipal council, with a resolution approved today, has approved a specific support measure for catering activities (bars, pubs, restaurants, pizzerias, ice cream parlors, pastry shops) affected, following the Prime Ministerial Decree of 3 November, by the ban on the consumption of food and drinks within their respective premises.
As is known, for these activities only sales with takeaway until 22pm and home delivery are currently permitted, in compliance with the health and hygiene regulations for both packaging and transport activities.
Today's resolution introduces a particular type of temporary permit, free of charge and with a provisional duration of three months (possibly extendable depending on the progress of the COVID-19 epidemiological situation), which will enable access to the ZTL from Monday to Sunday - 24 hours a day.
It will be issued, to the maximum extent of two badges for each business, each indicating up to two license plate numbers, following a formal request from the food and drink provider, to be sent to the email address ideeztledisabili @comune.brescia.it, using the appropriate forms made available on the website of the Municipality of Brescia in the Permits and Limited Traffic Zone section.
Holders of this permit will be allowed to park in the spaces reserved for "residents and authorized persons" of the historic centre, for a duration of 20 minutes for each stop, with the obligation to indicate the arrival time.
For food and beverage operators who already have an ordinary "OE" permit - with similar authorizations but for which payment of a specific fee is required - the possibility of requesting a three-month extension free of charge has been provided (possibly extendable depending on the progress of the COVID-19 epidemiological situation) of the permit in their possession, upon a specific request to be sent to the email address ordiniztledisabili@comune.brescia.it, using the appropriate forms made available on the website of the Municipality of Brescia in the Permits and Zone section with limited traffic.
Please remember that, upon communication to the email address infoztl@bresciamobilita.it, it is in any case possible to carry out free delivery and loading - unloading activities in the restricted traffic zone with vehicles intended for the transport of goods such as trucks, vans, etc. in the following ranges opening hours: for the ordinary ZTL from Monday to Saturday from 6.30 am to 10.30 am (with obligation to exit the ZTL by 10.45 am) and from 14.00 pm to 15.30 pm (with obligation to exit the ZTL by 15.45 pm); for areas with privileged pedestrian traffic such as Piazza Paolo VI only in the morning.
We also inform you that for private citizens, associations and volunteers who provide assistance to residents and/or domiciled in ZTL, for temporary and exceptional needs related to the COVID emergency, it is possible to obtain free temporary permits of limited duration (three months), upon request to be sent to the email address ordiniztledisabili@comune.brescia.it, using the appropriate forms available on the website of the Municipality of Brescia in the Permits and Limited Traffic Zone section.
For information and clarifications, it is possible to contact the ZTL Permits Office by email permessiztledisabili@comune.brescia.it or by calling, from 9 am to 12 pm from Monday to Friday, at the number 334.1064023.
