Brescia, renovation work has begun from Corso Mameli to Palazzo Loggia

Brescia, Work has begun on the resurfacing of the porphyry cube pavement of Corsetto S. Agata, from Corso Mameli (including the intersection) to Palazzo Loggia, and of a part of the stone paving of Largo Formentone adjacent to Corsetto S. Agata. The intervention should be completed on Friday 21 August but the works in Largo Formentone could continue until the first days of September.
This operation concludes the project started last summer, when the pavement of Corso Mameli was resurfaced, in the stretch between Via San Faustino and Corsetto S. Agata, and the stretch of Largo Formentone adjacent to Piazza Loggia.
To allow the work to proceed smoothly, some changes to the road system have been adopted.
Until the works are completed, parking will be prohibited in Corsetto Sant'Agata, on the north side of the south carriageway of Piazza della Loggia between Corsetto San'Agata and Via XXIV Maggio, on the north carriageway of Piazza della Loggia, in Via A.Volta, in Corso Mameli between Corso Garibaldi and Corsetto Sant'Agata and in Rua Sovera between Corso Mameli and Via Capriolo.
Corsetto Sant'Agata between Corso Mameli and number 8/b, the northern carriageway of Piazza della Loggia, Corso Mameli from number 2/m up to ten meters east of Corsetto Sant'Agata and Rua Sovera between Corsetto Sant'Agata and Rua Sovera will also be closed to vehicular traffic. number 1 and Corso Mameli.
