Bari, Giovanni Paolo II park reopens to the public in May.
THEcouncilor for works public Giuseppe Galasso makes it known that Work continues to complete the irrigation system in the Giovanni Paolo II park in San Paolo.
“As is known, during the construction of the new lighting system, completed and functioning, the excavations carried out were also used to install the pipes of the new backbone of the irrigation system – he comments Giuseppe Galasso -. The works underway these days are necessary to make the distribution of water in the green area more uniform: for this reason, after having resolved a series of administrative critical issues, the additional works relating to the completion of the irrigation system began, carried out within the framework of the existing framework agreement on the white sewer.
“By the end of April the works should be completed and in May” – concludes Galasso – “we will be able to reopen this green space to the public at the end of the interventions which, I remind you, concerned the overall renovation of the lighting system, the creation of the video surveillance system and the irrigation system, as we did in the 2 Giugno park and in the San Francesco pine forest".
