From the Ministry of the Interior 1,5 million euros to the Metropolitan Cities to intensify the fight against drug dealing in schools

They amount to 1 million and 500 thousand euros the contributions made available by the Ministry of the Interior for the 2024/2025 school year as part of the initiative “Safe Schools".

The funding, intended for 14 metropolitan cities, aim to strengthen prevention and fight against drug dealing in schools.

With these resources the beneficiary Municipalities – Bari, Bologna, Cagliari, Catania, Florence, Genoa, Messina, Milano, Naples, Palermo, Reggio Calabria, Rome, Turin, Venice – will be able to realize video surveillance systems, hire local police officers, pay the extraordinary work of the Corps staff and promote information campaigns on the topic.
