Piacenza: They argue in the street, then the 23-year-old is injured by blows from a screwdriver, the 50-year-old attacker reported

The episode occurred in Piazzale Libertà in Piacenza. The person identified by the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile is a 50-year-old man living in the city. A 23-year-old was injured with a screwdriver at the height of an argument with his mother's husband, then fled in a van and was identified shortly after by the Piacenza Radiomobile military.

On site, alerted by several citizens present on the scene, a team from the Piacenza Radiomobile intervened and collected the victim's testimony and seized a bloody screwdriver, found on the ground not far from the place of the attack. From the statements made by the 23-year-old it emerged that, at the height of the clash, the 50-year-old moved from words to actions: he injured his rival in the face, fortunately not seriously, also thanks to the intervention of a man who happened to be passing by, and ran away throwing the screwdriver on the ground.

The man was reported for aggravated personal injury and possession of objects capable of causing offence. The young man, treated on site by 118 personnel, was transported to the hospital in Piacenza to undergo more in-depth tests. The military also managed to trace the reasons for the attack, almost certainly linked to the separation from the 23-year-old's mother.

In fact, on the same day of the attack, the 50-year-old had gone to his wife's house, where the 23-year-old also lives., and from where he had been missing for several months, to get back personal effects he had left behind and a heated argument ensued.
