Checks during the “movida bobbiese”. Carabinieri and a canine unit of the Guardia di Finanza entered some premises in the centre of Val Trebbia: cocktails had been served to some very young people, including a minor of 16 years of age. Report and administrative sanction for a manager of a premises.
The service, carried out over the last weekend, is one of those that have been arranged to prevent problems due to the gathering of many young people, such as fights for trivial reasons or possible consumption of drugs. The three patrols that had been arranged, entered various premises and in one of these they ascertained that the manager had served alcoholic beverages to six minors.

One of these was under the age of sixteen. At this point the measures were taken: administrative for having served alcohol to the 16 and 17 year olds and criminal for having served alcohol to the 15 year old.

Three personal searches, with negative results, were carried out by the military and a total of 26 customers were identified and checked.
Please remember that the ban on serving does not only apply to minors under 16 but also to those under 18, and that verification of the age of the customer requesting alcoholic beverages must be carried out by the manager, but also by any employee from whom the beverage is requested.

Finally, this obligation, which falls under the responsibility of the manager or employee, is not to be considered fulfilled by simply placing notices or signs in the premises.
