A complaint for driving while intoxicated, one for theft and possession of altered keys and lock picks and one arrest for drug dealing. These are some of the activities that saw the Carabinieri patrols engaged in the "lower Piacenza" area yesterday afternoon, Friday 3 August, protecting the inhabited centers and the main road arteries.
In Cortemaggiore a 39-year-old driver from Brescia remained unharmed after an autonomous road spill which occurred while he was travelling along the provincial road leading to Chiavenna, Landi on board a car owned by an acquaintance, was reported for driving under the influence of alcohol and his license was revoked because he tested positive for alcohol test with a level higher than the threshold of criminal relevance.
In Fiorenzuola d'Arda, the Company's mobile radio unit reported a 44-year-old for theft and possession of altered keys or lock picks. The man had fled after having removed from a shopping center luxury goods worth 50 euros, and was promptly identified and reached by the Radiomobile crew who were immediately called to intervene. After the search, the military also found small burglary equipment in his possession which was seized.
In Pontenure, on Via Emilia Parmense, a patrol from the local station arrested in flagrante possession for the purpose of dealing narcotic substances a 34 year old foreigner, without a fixed abode, because he was stopped on board a private car was found in possession of 43 doses of cocaine, for a total weight of almost 33 grams, in addition to 2.130 euros in banknotes of various sizes hidden in the passenger compartment. The passenger who was with him, a 28-year-old compatriot, was once identified and reported for the same crime. The arrested person was held in the security room of the barracks in via Beverora available to the judicial authorities.
