Fiorenzuola d'Arda: Carabinieri arrest and seizure of narcotics: a 22-year-old man arrested in a Carabinieri operation.

An important operation against the drug trafficking was conducted by Carabinieri of the Operational Unit of the Fiorenzuola d'Arda Companyunder the coordination of Public Prosecutor's Office of Piacenza and with the precious support of the canine units of the Guardia di Finanza, "Hello"and "Martin”. The intervention led to thearrest of a 22-year-old worker, resident in the municipality of Val d'Arda, accused of possession and dealing of hashish.

The investigative activity began following a series of reports regarding suspicious movements and an alleged drug dealing active between Fiorenzuola d'Arda and the surrounding municipalities. According to what has emerged, the young man was identified as one of the main players in a drug trafficking network that involved minors and young people in the areaThe alleged deliveries of drugs - in particular hashish – occurred in public places and in some areas located near schools, circumstances that alarmed the investigators and accelerated the monitoring work.

The Carabinieri carried out the search and seizure decree issued by the Prosecutor's Office. The military reached the 22-year-old's home with the support of two canine units, which proved decisive in finding also minimal quantities of drugs hidden between the garage and the bedroom. When the Carabinieri arrived, the young man allegedly attempted to get rid of a plastic bag containing hashish, throwing it out the window.

The gesture did not escape the attention of the military, who immediately recovered the contents. The search led to the discovery of 380 grams of hashish, packaged in sealed packages in a manner suitable to evade any checks. Also found packaging material, an element considered indicative of drug dealing activity. The young worker was then arrested for possession for the purpose of trafficking of narcotic substancesAfter the ritual formalities at the barracks in Fiorenzuola d'Arda, it was taken back to house arrest, available to the judicial authority.
