Piacenza: A drunken man causes chaos at a betting shop.

An episode of strong tension occurred late yesterday evening, December 9, 2025, when a 41 year old Maghrebian in an evident state of drunkenness he created disturbances inside a betting center located in the area of Europa Avenue, PiacenzaIt was around 22:30 pm when the Carabinieri of the Piacenza Radiomobile They intervened following a report regarding the man, who, with a bottle in his hand, was behaving in a harassing manner towards customers, so much so that the staff was forced to remove him from the premises.

After leaving the betting shop, the 41-year-old then headed towards the parking lot of a nearby supermarket, where four other compatriots already known to the Carabinieri were located. Given the potentially dangerous situation, the police requested the assistance of additional patrols. State Police and Guardia di Finanza to manage the intervention.

Thanks to the coordination of law enforcement, the situation was quickly brought under control. The man showed obvious signs of alcohol abuse: precarious balance, strong alcoholic breath, motor agitation and a high, aggressive tone of voice. Given his condition he was transported by ambulance to the first aid, where he was sedated and held for observation.

Once identified, it emerged that the 41-year-old was illegal alien on Italian territory. For this reason he was invited to appear at the Police Headquarters for further investigations on his position and was fined for drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
