Piacenza: 39-year-old woman arrested for extortion and robbery against a fellow citizen.

I Carabinieri of the Piacenza Investigative Unit have arrested a 39 year old woman, of Nigerian origin, resident in province of Cremona, married and employed as a barmaid. The arrest was carried out in compliance with a execution order for imprisonment issued by Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Piacenza.

The woman will have to serve a sentence of 3 years and 6 months in prison for the crimes of extortion and robbery, following a final conviction relating to a serious episode which occurred on December 21, 2018 in Castelvetro Piacentino (PC), reconstructed by the Carabinieri.

On that occasion, the 39-year-old, together with an accomplice later identified, had attempted to extort 500 euros from a fellow countryman, threatening him with reveal a romantic relationship to his family which the two had entertained for a short time.
