Pescara: extraordinary control of the territory, reports and arrests throughout the Province

The Carabinieri of the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Pescara, this weekend, as part of the measures to intensify territorial control services aimed, in particular, at combating predatory crimes and drug dealing, which saw the patrols of the dependent Stations, the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus in action, with the use of the anti-drug canine unit of the Chieti Dog Unit.

During the activity, which will continue in the next few days, numerous checkpoints were also set up along the main connecting roads and meeting places, in the context of which 682 people were identified and 437 vehicles were subjected to traffic checks and numerous violations of the highway code were ascertained, an activity during which they were also 6 people reported to the Administrative Authority for violation of the law on narcotics and high administrative sanctions.

In particular:
– In Montesilvano:

• The Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus they reported a 24 year old at large, of the place, for resisting a public official, driving without a license repeated in the two-year period.
• The Carabinieri of the local station, in execution of an order issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Bologna they arrested a 52 year old, of the place, having to serve a sentence of 4 years and 2 months of imprisonment for fraud.
• The Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus, they reported a 24 year old at large resident in Collecorvino, for driving under the influence of alcohol.

– In Pescara and its province:

• The Carabinieri of the Scalo Station, in execution of an order issued by the Attorney General's Office at the Court of Appeal of Perugia they arrested a 62 year old, a 52 year old, both residents of Pescara, having to serve a residual sentence of 6 years of imprisonment for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.
• The Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus, they arrested a 24 year old of the place, for evasion.
• The Carabinieri of the Spoltore Station, They reported a 19-year-old and a minor at large, residents of Montesilvano, as they are considered responsible for contributing to aggravated injuries, for an episode that occurred in Pescara in Corso Manthonè on 2 November 2024, where a 20-year-old resident of Pescara was beaten, for trivial reasons.
