Pescara: 2 Special Public Safety Surveillances carried out on a young couple of Pescara criminals

In recent days, staff of State Police gave effect to 2 decrees for the application of the Special Surveillance of the State Police with residence obligation in this municipality for the duration of 3 years issued by Court of L'Aquila at the expense of a couple of repeat offenders, recognized, together with 70 other subjects, which belong to a criminal association that with mafia method was dedicated to the commission of property crime as well as to the dealing of narcotic substances in the Pescara neighborhoods of “Rancitelli” and “Ferro di Cavallo”.

After a detailed and incisive analysis, carried out by the staff in service at Anti-Crime Division - Office of Preventive Measures, on the personality of the 2 young criminals and on the seriousness of the facts committed by them, in acceptance of the proposal put forward by Police Chief of Pescara, Court of L'Aquila, fully sharing the results of the reconstruction activities carried out and the assessment of the social dangerousness judgement against the two, issued in the last few days 2 separate measures for the application of the Special Surveillance measure with an obligation to reside for a period of 3 years.

The activity carried out is part of the broader framework of a prevention strategy pursued by the Pescara Police Headquarters through the numerous investigations aimed at issuing provisions under the exclusive jurisdiction of thePublic Security Authority, an activity which from January 1st to today has led to the issuing of numerous preventive measures against as many individuals deemed dangerous for public order and safety as they are involved in the commission of various types of crimes.

In fact, in just over a month, they have been issued 23 Oral Notices, 6 Prohibition of Return measures in the various municipalities of the Pescara province, 8 DASPOS, or Access Bans to Sporting Events, of which 4 so-called out of context, that is, not connected to sporting events or demonstrations.

Finally they were issued and notified 4 Warning measures from the Police Commissioner for the protection of as many victims of domestic violence and stalking crimes, as suitable measures to effectively and promptly combat the phenomenon of the so-called gender violence.
