Pescara, harassment and violence against his ex-partner: 37-year-old arrested by State Police.

La Pescara State Police arrested a 37 year old of foreign origin in execution of theprecautionary custody order in prison issued by the GIP at the request of the Prosecutor's Office.

The man is seriously suspected of the crimes of stalking, personal injury and violation of domicile, committed against the his ex-partner, a 44-year-old woman.

According to what was reconstructed by Flying Squad, the stalking allegedly began last July, immediately after the end of the relationship.

Threats, intrusions, and assaults: the victim's nightmare

The investigations revealed that the 37-year-old had tormented his ex-partner with constant threats and harassment, arriving several times to to remain in her home against the woman's will and threatened to harm her children, born from a previous relationship.

On several occasions the victim would have been physically assaulted, taken at kicks and punches, to the point of living in such a constant state of fear that they decide to never return to their home again.

Even after the lock was replaced, which was carried out during the man's brief absence, the suspect would have forced the front door, damaging it and re-entering the house.

The threats and violence have continued over time, culminating at the end of October in a new attack: The woman was reportedly kicked, punched in the face and pushed against a wall, sustaining injuries as she attempted to escape.

Only on the street was she able to ask for help and report the facts.

In light of the evidence gathered, and considering that the man is habitual user of alcohol and narcotics, the Public Prosecutor requested the application of the most restrictive measure.

The police tracked down and arrested the 37-year-old inside the woman's home, who will now finally be able to return home safely.
