Drug dealer arrested in Pescara: 49g of heroin and other narcotics seized

The Carabinieri of the Operational Section of the Pescara Company, engaged in anti-drug services prepared by the Provincial Command of Pescara to counter the resurgence of the particular phenomenon connected to the sale and use of narcotic substances, have a 58-year-old local man was arrested. The investigations carried out were triggered by strange movements observed near a house in the Adriatic city, which allowed the observation of a coming and going of people. Therefore it was considered appropriate to proceed with house search at the subject's home where they were found, on the kitchen cabinet, just after entering the house, 49 gr. of heroin, 2 gr. of cocaine, approximately 10 gr. of crack, 25 gr. of hashish, a precision scale, various packaging material and over 700 euros in cash, of various denominations, considered the proceeds of the illicit activity. What was found was seized and made available to the Judicial Authority, the sum of money presumed to be the proceeds of illicit activity will be deposited in a judicial booklet.

At the end of the investigations, the man was placed under house arrest pending the validation hearing, as ordered by the Judicial Authority. The investigations will continue to ascertain details on the origin and destination of the drugs but certainly the local criminal community has been deprived of a significant quantity of drugs.
