Pescara: 18-year-old arrested after theft and threats with scissors.

La Pescara State Police arrested an 18-year-old presumed responsible for the crime of aggravated improper robbery, as part of the enhanced services dedicated to territorial control. The Flying Squad's intervention took place in the early afternoon of 9th December, following the report of an attempted theft in a local supermarket New door.

By listening to the staff of the commercial establishment and the security staff, the officers reconstructed the incident: the young man had been caught in the act after having removed food products from the shelvesRealizing that the intervention of the police had been requested, the 18-year-old allegedly attempted to escape by taking a pair of scissors from the office where he had been escorted to wait for the patrols. With them, he would have attempted to hit the security guard, engaging in a fight with him scuffle.

The Flying Squad officers, who arrived immediately on the scene, blocked the young man and took him to the Police Headquarters, where, after having collected the useful clues, they arrestedAt the end of the ritual procedures, the 18-year-old was taken to the Pescara prison, available to the Judicial Authority.

La stolen goods, consisting of some foodstuffs, was returned to its rightful owners.
