Umbertide: Stones thrown from overpass damaging two cars, 3 minors reported

The Carabinieri of the Umbertide Station have three minors, two 13-year-olds and one 14-year-old, were reported at liberty, held responsible for the crime of damage following the throwing of stones from an overpass. Two cars were damaged after being the object of the throwing of stones that occurred at the height of the overpass of via Martiri della Libertà in Umbertide. The immediate investigations carried out by the military of the Umbertide Station and the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Città di Castello (PG) Company have allowed us to identify the perpetrators of the serious act, leading to the identification of the three minors.

According to what was reconstructed by the military of the Arma, the three young men allegedly took rocks from the nearby railway embankment and threw them at cars passing on the overpass below. Some of these rocks hit two cars, which suffered damage to the hood and windshield, while the two respective drivers, two local women, fortunately remained unharmed. The three minors, despite his very young age, they were reported at liberty to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court of Perugia, having to answer for the aforementioned criminal hypothesis.
