Monteleone di Spoleto: the Carabinieri report a man for illegal possession and failure to store weapons.

The Carabinieri of the Monteleone di Spoleto Station, as part of a series of checks carried out on individuals in possession of weapons, have identified and proceeded to report a 56-year-old, already known to the police, considered presumed responsible for the crimes of illegal possession and failure to store weapons.

The military searched the man's home, in the Ruscio hamlet, during which two illegally held hunting rifles were found. The weapons belonged to his deceased father-in-law, who held them legitimately but, after his death, they were never the subject of a request for permission to possess them from the competent authorities.

Furthermore, the two rifles were recovered inside a cellar, devoid of any safety measures and therefore could be taken by anyone who had access to that room. For these reasons, the man was reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Spoleto for the aforementioned hypotheses of crime.
All the weapons found were seized.
