Castel del Piano (PG): territorial controls intensified, a subject found driving with a dose of cocaine and a suspended license fined

Over the past weekend, the Carabinieri have intensified checks on the territory to verify compliance with the rules of the new Highway Code and prevent predatory and personal crimes. The activities were concentrated in several sensitive areas of the city, with particular attention to the hamlet of Castel del Piano, near a very busy shopping centre, where the main objective was to prevent incidents of petty crime, especially by groups of minors.

During the checks, an individual was stopped while driving a vehicle in possession of a dose of cocaine-type drugs and with a suspended license, immediately fined for violation of current regulations.

The operation is part of a broader strategy to combat crime and protect road safety, carried out with the utmost commitment by the police. The Carabinieri of the Perugia Company, constantly present on the territory, aim to guarantee a safer environment for all citizens, both in terms of road legality and crime prevention.
