A 24-year-old was reported for attempted robbery and possession of offensive objects after an assault that occurred near the Stadio degli Ulivi.

The Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus of the Assisi Company have reported at liberty a 24-year-old responsible for the crime of attempted robbery and possession of objects capable of causing offence.
The incident occurred a few days ago, late in the evening, in Assisi, near the Stadio degli Ulivi, when the young man attempted to rob a tourist bus driver who was visiting the city of Assisi, threatening him with a syringe that he claimed was infected.
The driver promptly defended himself by placing a suitcase between himself and the attacker and pushing him away, managing to put him to flight.
Following a report received by the Single Emergency Number – NUE – 112, the military, having arrived in the area of interest, collected the first information provided by the victim and some witnesses, starting the investigation aimed at identifying the alleged perpetrator of the crime.
The investigation allowed the operators to track down and identify the attacker who was then reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Perugia for the aforementioned hypotheses of crime.
