Assault on SS 318 in Valfabbrica: motorist hit with a stick, 24-year-old reported.

Serious episode of road violence along the SS 318 VAR, on the main road Perugia-AnconaThe Carabinieri of Valfabbrica have identified and a 24 year old reported, resident in the Marche, for the crime of personal injury to the detriment of a 59 years old from Gualdo Tadino.

According to the victim's complaint, while he was driving on the highway, a van launched at high speed he started to flash repeatedly to get a clear path. The driver pulled over to let him pass, but the driver of the van, instead of continuing, started to tail him dangerously, continuing to use the high beam headlights as a report.

Shortly after, the van made a risky overtaking and it is placed across the roadway, forcing the victim to stop. At that point, the young driver got out of the vehicle and, without any warning, he attacked the 59-year-old with a stick, probably to take revenge on the low speed maintained by the motorist.

The victim, reporting injuries with a 7 day prognosis, immediately turned to the Carabinieri of Valfabbrica, providing useful details for identifying the attacker. Thanks to the collected elements, the military managed to trace the person responsible, who was reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Perugia.
