Perugia: intensificati i controlli del territorio sul capoluogo e in provincia, identificate 60 persone

In detail, on Wednesday evening, the activities were concentrated in several sensitive areas of the city, with particular attention to the hamlets of Ponte San Giovanni and Ponte Valleceppi, where the staff of the Ponte San Giovanni Station, the Radiomobile Section of the Perugia Company and a team of First Response Units were employed, which patrolled the main access routes to the capital, the squares, industrial and residential areas, even the most isolated and peripheral. Phase in which the operators carried out checkpoints in several points, useful for checking incoming/outgoing traffic and subjecting suspicious or previous persons to more in-depth checks.

During the checks, also carried out with the use of a breathalyzer, 60 people were identified, on board 38 vehicles, including a 20-year-old, driving his own car, caught in possession of a dose of hashish, for which he was reported as a user to the local Prefecture.

The checks also involved some commercial establishments, where customers were identified in order to ascertain whether they were frequented by criminals.
