Pavia, two dogs living in a nightmare seized and saved by OIPA: owner reported for mistreatment
Following a report, OIPA intervened, they found a dog tied up on the balcony, skin and bones, and another in a cage in a garage. The two seized dogs are now in a contracted facility and can be taken into temporary foster care, once the judicial process is over, they can finally be permanently adopted and thus have all the love they deserve.

Two dogs seized by the zoophile guards of the International Animal Protection Organization (Oipa) intervened in the Pavia area to save the four-legged friends forced to live in a nightmare scenario.
The action was launched following a report received by the association, intervened together with the local police. The keeper was reported for incompatible detention of animals causing serious suffering (Article 727 of the Criminal Code).
Having entered the internal courtyard of a building, the guards found a female Belgian Shepherd Malinois tied to the parapet of a balcony with a leash of just over a meter. The poor dog he was skin and bones and in a state of severe stress.
A second dog, whose yelps came from a garage, instead he was found in the corner of the garage, in the dark, locked inside a cage. It was of another Belgian Malinois, a male he was also malnourished. Phobic and in a state of great stress, the dog could not stand up. Next to him also a second cage which, as the holder stated, it was used for the female found on the balcony.
Given the excessive thinness of dogs, they had also some abrasions on the body, the zoophile guards they requested the intervention of the veterinary ATS, who confirmed their precarious state of health and also found behavioral stress disorders.
Now the dogs are in an affiliated facility and can be taken into temporary custody from those who want to give them all the love and attention they deserve. A rehabilitation program is also planned for them. Once the judicial process is completed, may be adopted definitively (for information, write to guardipavia@oipa.org).
Oipa invites us not to ignore cases of degradation and mistreatment of which we are aware and to address always to his zoophilic guards who, in full respect of privacy, can intervene to protect animals.
