Pavia, attempted serial robberies: three minors arrested by State Police
La operational readiness of the Pavia State Police allowed for the arrest in flagrante three minors – two boys and a girl – held responsible for a rapid and violent series of attempted robberies, achieved in just a matter of thirty minutes between Bricchetti Street and Aselli StreetThe alarm was raised thanks to the timely call 112 carried out by one of the victims and an eyewitness. The contribution of two police officers from the Police Headquarters released from duty who, casually passing through the area, noticed a young man in difficulty who was asking for help.
Having immediately understood the gravity of the situation, the two officers maintained a constant contact with the Operations Room, by providing detailed descriptions of the attackers and updates on their movements, thus allowing the Steering wheels to intervene extremely quickly. The crews, having arrived on the indicated roads, have the trio was intercepted and blocked while they were attacking the fourth victim, managing to interrupt the action and secure the unfortunate man. The man had just been hit with two punches to the face, reporting a lip wound , broken glassesOnly the immediate intervention of the officers prevented more serious consequences.
Subsequent investigations and complaints from victims have allowed us to reconstruct the dynamics of the attacks. According to what was ascertained, the minors would have acted following a well-defined script: the girl approached the lone victims pretending to be in trouble, while the two accomplices suddenly intervened with violence, trying to subtract backpacks, bags and cashIn one of the most serious incidents, a victim was repeatedly kicked and punched in the face, even after falling to the ground. The other two targeted youths managed to escape, only suffering tugs and threats, without further physical consequences.
The three minors, all of Italian nationality, were accompanied in Police Headquarters for the ritual formalities and, upon order of the Public Prosecutor on duty at the Juvenile Court of Milano, transferred to the CPA “Cesare Beccaria” of Milano, pending the decisions of the Judicial Authority. During the arrest phase, the two boys resisted, repeatedly pushing the officers: for this reason they will be also reported for resisting a public official.
