The State Police executed an expulsion order against a 22-year-old considered a social danger following convictions for theft and resisting a public official.

In the day of Monday December 8, State Police, through the Section III of the Immigration Office, has carried out a detention order against a Gambian citizen born in 2003, recipient of a expulsion decree issued by Prefect of Pavia on 18th November 2025, pursuant toArticle 13, paragraph 2, letter C of the Consolidated Law on Immigration.

The intervention is part of the activities of fight against irregular immigration and for the protection of public order and safety.

The recipient of the provision was classified as socially dangerous subject, as provided for by theart. 1 of Legislative Decree no. 159/2011.

The repatriation escort was carried out at the same time as the release from prison due to the end of the sentence, since the man was detained following numerous convictions for theft e resistance to a public official.

Episodes of violence and resistance to officers

Among the most serious facts contested, an episode which occurred on board a direct train to Milano, during which the young man, in an attempt to avoid a check, threw his bicycle at the officers, then trying to hit them with punches and kicks.

The violent resistance made it necessary to intervene Railway Police reinforcements, in order to bring the situation back under control.

Previously, the Gambian citizen had also been convicted of theft, after forcefully snatched a cell phone from a woman's hands and attempted to escape.

On that occasion he had been tracked down and blocked by a State Police Flying Squad.

The operation confirms the institutions' attention towards those subjects who, in addition to being in irregular position on the national territory, they are responsible for repeated and dangerous conduct.

The detention order represents a fundamental step towards the repatriation and removal from Italian territory, in compliance with current regulations.
