Oristano and autumn events: a month full of news.

At the race start Oristano autumn events that this year absorbs Oristano Octobertwenty. The cultural festival, organized by the Municipality of Oristano in collaboration with the Oristano Foundation, from mid-October to the end of November offers a rich calendar of events.

The Sanna Council, on the proposal of the Councilor for Culture Luca Faedda, approved the resolution that defines the rich program of the event.

"Oristano renews its cultural proposal with a series of events of great interest - explains the Mayor Massimiliano Sanna presenting the review -. The offer is expanding and through the involvement of the main cultural actors of the city we guarantee a high-level program. But there will also be space for broader initiatives such as "Le notti gialla", the result of the collaboration of our Department of Productive Activities with Coldiretti and Confcommercio, which will be able to combine the passion for good food with the valorization of our zero-mile products. Space also for the little ones with the Halloween-themed workshops and the related party organized by the Pro Loco with our Department of Entertainment. As part of the initiatives against stray animals, which see the Department of the Environment and the ASL at the forefront, on October 26 in Piazza Eleonora we will organize a day dedicated to microchipping, a parade and animal welfare. And finally Connetica which repeats after the success of the past few weeks".

Oristano e gli eventi autunnali: un mese ricco di novità

"The autumn cultural programme changes its look - underlines the Councillor for Culture Luca Faedda -. If Oristano ottobreventi was concentrated in one month, with the new review we broaden the horizon to two months with a program that allows us to better distribute and pace the many scheduled events. We start on October 18 with the interesting proposal of the Coro femminile Sa Pintadera that, alongside the musical review, will offer an interesting conference on the Pintadera as a symbol of identity. Given the success achieved in recent weeks, the walks in the historic center with “La domenica della storia” and the literary review “E ora… autori in biblioteca” are back. On Sunday October 27, the Pro loco offers a Medieval Day with a parade with medieval costumes and historical reenactment. An absolute novelty for Oristano is the event “Libri a tempo” that will allow us to give a second life to our books, perhaps already read, that can be very useful for someone else. We will collect essays, novels, exhibition catalogs, comics. All that is needed is for them to be in good condition and with a 10 euro ticket you can take away the books you manage to choose in a maximum of 10 minutes. Finally, the appointment with Àmana returns, the third edition of the event that this time leaves Piazza Roma to move to the Foro Boario where in the next few days the exhibition “Kolossòi. Pastorello nell'isola dei giganti” will open".
