Laconi: 25-year-old man arrested by Carabinieri for abusing his partner.

I Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Isili Company they arrested, on the evening of November 9th, a twenty-five year old from Laconi on charges of mistreatment against family members and cohabitants.

The intervention was triggered after the call to 112 by the cohabiting partner, who reported being hit with a violent slap in the face during an argument that arose over trivial matters.

The woman reported to the Operations Centre operator that she had suffered theyet another episode of violence.

The Carabinieri, who arrived immediately on the scene, identified the young man - presumably in a state of alteration due to thealcohol abuse—and they calmed him down, starting the necessary investigations.

The checks allowed us to document a pattern of repeated domestic violence, already previously suffered by the victim.

The woman, assisted by the health personnel of the 118, was transported to code yellow at the hospital in Oristano, where she was later discharged with thirty days of prognosis.

The man was instead removed from the family home and subjected to the measure of home detention, pending the validation hearing.

On November 11th, following the hearing, the judge precautionary measures confirmed already applied. The investigations are still ongoing.
