Cabras: Anti-drug operations, two 30-year-olds reported

The past week has seen two anti-drug operations carried out by the Carabinieri as part of the intensification of crime prevention and repression activities ordered by the Provincial Command.

The Military of the Cabras Station supported by the Oristano Company, they reported at large to the Judicial Authority a 28-year-old man who was searched on the night of November 18, 2024 near Piazza Marongiu and was found in possession of 0,84 grams of cocaine, 5 packages containing heroin for a gross weight of 1,00 grams, material suitable for packaging the narcotic substance and a precision scale.

During the same activity, a report was also made to the Prefecture of Oristano 33-year-old local man for possession for personal use of 0,40 grams of cocaine. Also in the afternoon to follow another 62 year old instead, in the Pauledda area, he was found in possession of approximately 7,5 grams of cocaine, two precision scales and various materials suitable for packaging and cutting the drug. All the drugs and materials found were seized.

The operation was carried out following careful monitoring and investigation, which allowed us to collect significant evidence. The Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Oristano continue to carry out checks, especially for the prevention and repression of illicit drug trafficking and predatory crimes.
