On 10 April 2024, as part of the intensification of the prevention and repression of crimes ordered by the Provincial Command, the soldiers of the Carabinieri Company of Oristano with the support of the Operational Teams and the Dog Units of the Carabinieri Helicopter Squadron "Cacciatori Sardegna" have carried out a wide-ranging coordinated service of extraordinary control of the territory during which they carried out thearrest in flagrante delicto of a 27-year-old Italian man from the area, as he was held responsible for the crimes of illegal possession of 2 illegal weapons.
Following a search carried out on initiative in the early hours of the day inside the man's home, 1 clandestine pistol, 7,65 cal and a parallel barrel rifle were found, both with abraded serial number, and ammunition, 70 cartridges in total.
The weapons and ammunition were seized, while the arrested person was associated with the Oristano - Massama prison, available to the Judicial Authority pending the validation hearing at the Oristano court.
