Nuoro: Drug checks in city schools to combat and prevent drug dealing among young people
As part of the services aimed at preventing and repressing the phenomenon of drug trafficking prepared and intensified by the Police Chief of the Province of Nuoro, the agents of Flying Squad and Services Section of the Nuoro Police Headquarters, supported by the local Flying Squad, 5 February they carried out numerous checks in some educational institutes of the capital in order to to combat and prevent the spread of the phenomenon among the youngest.
The checks, carried out at the ARST station of Viale Sardegna and at theCiusa Higher Education Institute, were performed with the aid of the Dog Unit of the Penitentiary Police of Nuoro.
The project of the State Police, which will continue in the coming weeks, has the aim of to stem the spread of a particularly serious phenomenon involving very young people, like that of shop and consumption of narcotic substances and educating the new generations about legality.
