Baunei and Villagrande Strisaili: Online scams against two Ogliastrans, those responsible reported.
I Carabinieri of the Baunei and Villagrande Strisaili Stations, at the end of investigative activities, have two people reported at large residents in Milano and Porto Torres, identify which ones responsible for two different scams committed against a 51 year old from Triei and a 31 years old from Villagrande Strisaili.
The investigations relating to 51 year old man was scammed arose from the complaint filed by the victim at the Baunei Carabinieri Station. The man, interested in purchasing a car put up for sale through the site “subito.it”, has poured 800 € to the seller without ever receiving the vehicle.
Il 31 years old from Villagrande Strisaili, instead, was contacted via messaging applications “Messenger” and “WhatsApp” and convinced to pay 150 € to buy spare parts for your car. The seller, identified in a 36 year old resident of Porto Torres, after having set up a meeting to finalize the negotiation, subsequently communicated that he had had personal matters, asking for and obtaining further loan of 130 euros.
The 31-year-old, suspicious of the scammer's repeated justifications, sent his own IBAN to request the money back, without ever receiving it.
The checks carried out on the telephone utilities and bank documentation have allowed us to trace, in both cases, the current accounts where the sums of money, registered to the reported individuals, had flowed into.
